You would think it would be easier for African passport holders to obtain visas for an African country, but unfortunately this is not so. Charlotte and Trevor, being South African nationals, have to obtain visas ahead of time for 6 out of the 7 countries we are going to travel through. Fortunately, all these countries have an Embassy or Consulate here in Abidjan, otherwise it would have been even more difficult and time-consuming. The only visa that they can obtain at the border is for Mauritania.
